It is the buyer’s responsibility to review and judge vehicle condition before bidding.
Terms and Conditions of Sale Agreement
1. You are entering a legal binding contract. Please read the following carefully. Your bid/offer to buy and/or purchase constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions in this Terms of Sale agreement. You acknowledge and agree that your bid, offer to buy and/or purchase has the same effect as manually signing a contract and creates a valid, binding agreement between you and us. Please do not bid if you’re not seriously interested or financially able to purchase this vehicle.
2. Legacy Recovery & Remarketing Services reserves the right to cancel any and all bids at our discretion or end the sale early for any reason.
3. You must be 18 years of age or older to bid.
4. If the reserve is not met, we may contact the high bidder to discuss a second chance bid offer.
5. You may resubmit a higher bid at any time. Bids must be in minimum increments of $100.00.
6. Lienholder reserves the right to bid.
FUNDS: Upon acceptance and approval of the high bid by the Lienholder, we will notify the high bidder only. The final balance is due within 5 days of notice, and must be paid by Bank Check, certified check. All funds must be paid in U.S. dollars. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. If you do not follow the above guidelines, we reserve the right to sell to the next high bidder, or alternatively dispose of such item in any manner we choose or relist the item.
All New York State buyers will be charged State and Local Sales tax unless you are NYS registered dealer and provide a tax-exempt certificate. All out-of-state buyers are responsible for all their local and state taxes, which should be paid within. All buyers will be responsible for registering and titling their own vehicle as well as any state-required inspections and be required to pay all costs associated with these transactions to the appropriate jurisdiction.
TITLE: All vehicles are repossessions and subsequently in many cases require us to apply for a repossession title, which can take up to 6 weeks to obtain. While we usually have most titles in our possession at the time of closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by a cashiers check, we will hold all titles for up to 14 days or until funds clear.
INSPECTIONS: Please understand we do our very best to accurately and fairly describe each vehicle. We encourage you to make an appointment to come and inspect the vehicle or have someone else inspect it for you. There are also third-party inspection companies should you choose to contract out the inspection, although there is nothing better than a personal inspection.
Legacy Recovery & Remarketing Services and its employees will not be held accountable for errors or omissions in the description of the vehicles or typographical errors in any of our vehicle listings. All vehicle options, specs, features, color, descriptions, history, maintenance records and manufacturer’s warranty information must be researched by the buyer before completing purchase. We encourage you to run reports thru Autocheck, Carfax, etc. Lastly, we will furnish all original books, extra keys, remote controls, floor mats, navigation disks, or any other accessories only if available to us.
VEHICLE WARRANTY: All vehicles are sold as-is, where-is. Neither Legacy Recovery & Remarketing Services nor the Lienholder, expresses, implies, nor warrants the condition of, nor makes any representations concerning the vehicles being sold in as-is where-is condition.
TRANSPORTATION: The buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation arrangements and associated costs. We require 24-hour advance notice to picking up the vehicle and all funds must be paid prior to the vehicle being released. We will assist you in any way that we can, please feel free to call us.
